Not all animals can be mounted, may it due to their physical appearance or age (too young or too old). In that case you will get the message that the animal is too weak.

The speed at which mounts are going varies greatly. Some may only go at a few km/h without any accessories, adolescent horses with high QL accessories at about 34 km/h.
