==Description==
The farming skill contains the sowing, farming and harvesting of crops. Crops can take several days to grow, during wich a farmer should farm the field tiles to remove weeds. This will increase [[quality]] and quantity of the harvest. 

Crops can be harvested at any time, but you'll get the highest harvest yield if you harvest them at the perfect time. If you put a [[Small Barrel]] in your crop fields, the perfect time to harvest is when the crops are the same height as the [[Small Barrel]]. You can also tell when a crop is ready to be harvested when the color changes from a bright green to a yellowish green.

The seeds needed to start farming can be found while [[botanizing]] or from harvesting the crops. Some crops just need to be resowed.

At 10 farming skill you can see what kind of crop is growing in a field by examining it. 
At 20 farming skill you can see the perfect time to harvest. 
[[Quality]] and amount of the harvest increases when you have a high Farming skill. 

[[Quality]] of the seed also effects the growth time of the fields.
