1) We set up a new freedom lands that is totally non-pvp with possible griefing at a minimum.

* People will be able to use portals and sail there (if I can set it up) from any existing server. There are no skill losses. You can bring your money and 200 items on you and 100 items more in a boat. This should be ample to start up for one person and it is not a good idea to clutter the new database.
* You will be able to leave that server and go to the wild server later. In order to avoid accusations of exploitation trapped in freedom factory, send help, your skills will be immediately reduced to a max (30) and you will not be able to bring any items. Then you will be able to raise them again of course.
* When more freedom servers are needed you will be able to travel between those.
* Portals from GV to the freedom server is opened.
* You loose kingdom setting when you get to the freedom server.
* There is no ore cap, no skill cap. The unique creatures will exist.
* Champions can not leave for this server. There will be a possibility to de-champ but the wild server will remain so there probably is no reason.

Description
Vynora is the Goddess of knowledge, creation, water and fishing. Her channeling item is the pottery bowl.

Roads are connected with Vynora because it is a symbol of civilization and knowledge.

Game lore
Vynora's Converting Speech
What is this?

Have you ever asked yourself that question?

Vynora, our goddess and guide, will help you seek the answer to that ancient riddle, just as we help her in her quest to know everything.

Many secrets has she gathered, and we who call ourselves Seekers will be the first ones to learn.

What is a Man? What is a Woman? What lies in darkness of the Void? Questions need answers!<br>

Seekers strive after excellence. We seek the truth in all things. We will go anywhere in our attempts to find it.

True knowledge also brings us power. Power over self, but also power over others.

Our gathered experience tells us that the best for all is to use that knowledge with care.

Therefore most of us are peaceful and strive after a calm and orderly way to gather knowledge.

Welcome to join the followers of Vynora!

Vynora's Inscription(Altar of Three)
<em>
Seeker! I am the Water and the Wind.

A bowl is my symbol.Have you ever asked yourself the Questions? I will help you find the answer to the Ancient Riddles, if you help me.

My knowledge is vast, but I need to know the last parts! We all must know! What are you? What lingers in the darkness of the Void?

Seek excellence. Seek the truth in all things. Go anywhere in your attempts to find it.

True knowledge also brings you power. Exercise that power with care, or it will hurt you like the snake who bites its tail.

Too many secrets are hidden by the other gods, and none will they reveal. This cannot be.

Flow with me!
</em>

Details
Types:
* Can be dominated. However without use of a artifact its near impossible.
* Female dragons rarely lay huge eggs (when very well fed--fat) which should hatch.
* Butchering products: meat, scales (for red dragons), drake hide (for white, green and black dragons), a tooth and an eye.
* Can bash down/damage walls or fences
* Can not run out of stamina
* Moves VERY fast and cannot be outrun by a player unless the player has minimal weight or is running on cobblestone.
Unverified Information
Plate armour generally provides the highest base defense. <br>
Plate has a defense bonus vs cutting. The equipment also has a penalty vs mauls causing higher damage to the equipment when attacked with a maul.<br>
It does not affect attack speed. To compensate the decrease in hit chance, the weapon's QL can be increased.
A large heavy metal anvil. It allows you to make more advanced metalworking items than the small anvil, but is much heavier and requires a lot of iron to make and improve.

How to Use
In order to use a large anvil to make things it must be on the ground. Activate the iron lump you wish to use and then right click the anvil to see the creation menu.
Prospecting

Randnar: /* Uzetaab's Guide */

Main / Skills / Prospecting

Description
Prospecting is the locating of ore veins in rock. To start prospecting, activate a pickaxe and right-click a rock tile, select Mining -> Prospect. Note that you can not search for ore veins by means of prospecting when being inside a cave - you have to be on the surface.

Anyone can detect veins within 3 tiles. At higher skill levels, additional abilities are unlocked.

* At 20 skill you can estimate the quality of a vein or rock tile. <br> You can detect the presence of flint.
* At 40 skill you can detect the presence of salt.
* At 60 skill you can estimate the remaining amount of ore in a vein.

Gems appear randomly during all mining, and cannot be prospected.

All ores are slightly regional. Thus, if you locate a vein of ore, it is likely there will be other veins of the same ore type nearby.

Vein quality
Rock tiles and ore veins have a maximum quality level. Ore veins on the home server are limited to 50 QL (normal).

* Pretty bad: 1-39 QL
* Normal: 40-59 QL
* Good: 60-79 QL
* Very good: 80-89 QL
* Utmost: 90-99 QL

Vein depletion
Ordered by decreasing ore supply:

* "Only a few weeks mining remain here"
* "The ore is starting to deplete"
* "The ore will run out soon"
* "You should start to prospect for another vein of this ore"
* "The ore will run out any hour"

Prospecting Guide (large rock face)
| | | 3 | 2 | 1 |<--| X |
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+

X = no prospect of that ore
<-- = last tile you did get a prospect
3 = I recommend you start mining here
</pre>

Realize that the world is 2 dimensional. All the rock and ore tiles are pillars, they are not cubes. You can ignore the height of mountains when prospecting. Only North/South/West/East matter.

When you prospect on the surface, you can detect ore in an area of 7x7 area around you. That's 3 tiles in all directions from the tile you are prospecting. Prospecting inside a cave is not done to find ores, but to tell specific details about the tile you are prospecting.

When you prospect e.g. iron ore on the surface that means that somewhere within a range of 3 tiles around you (including the tiles behind you) an iron vein is located. You then try to find the tiles where you can no longer prospect the ore. You need to find one North or South edge, and one East or West edge.

Then count 3 tiles from both those edges and the tile you end up with is the ore vein.

You cannot mine the vein tile directly from the surface. If you try to mine the vein tile from the surface you will get the message <b>You fail to produce anything, the rock is stone hard</b>, or <b>You cannot keep mining here, the rock is unusually hard</b> (only when you were supposed to get a rock slab, otherwise you'll get <b>You chip away at the rock</b> as usual. You will have to start tunneling in the tile next to vein.

Sometimes grass, dirt or other tile types hinder the prospecting. Try to find a large rockface to ease prospecting.

Or you can try this program out as well

Uzetaab's Guide
Alternative for if you do not have a large rock face to prospect.

<pre>
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
| | | | | | |
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
X | X | X | X | X | X | X |
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
| | | X | | | | 3
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
| | | X | | | | 2
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
X | X | X | X | X | X |X | 1
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
| | | o | | | |
+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+
3 2 1 | # | 1 2 3
+---+
</pre>

You will have to reveal all the tiles in a 7x7 area to find the vein.

* ‘O’ the tile you prospected
* ‘X’ tiles that need to be mined out
* ‘#’ you

Note that I left 2 rows of tiles unmined between mined rows. This increases your chances of finding a 2nd vein that is beyond the reach of prospect. As you expand your mine, this pattern should be continued and expanded to reveal all the tiles in your mine's area.
Skill Guide
Here, hopefully will be a guide to what to cook at what level for fastest gain in Hot Food Cooking.

Note: the skill gain from cooking is given to the person who adds the cooking container into the oven rather than the person who puts the goods into it.

If someone takes the pot out and puts it back in then apparently they get the skill.

Also, it is a common wives tale in Wurm that you get zero skill if the difficulty of the dish you're making is more than 10+ your Hot food cooking skill. This is not the case. Skill may be reduced relative, but it's still able to be over yourskill+10.

Tritus' Gulasch (0-15)
Forewarning
I levelled this way myself so I know that it worked at time of writing.

However, for the first 4 points of skill gain it is very difficult to get skill and you will need to make many Gulasch. It may be faster to make some Stew until you are around 5.

Required
#Stone Forge QL 10-35
#Saucepan Any QL, possibly slower if low QL
#Cauldron Any QL
#Water
#Fish or Meat or Fillet of either

Refer to the Quick cooking guides

Method
#Put water in cauldron
#Put cauldron in forge
#Put Sauce Pan in forge
#Put fish in forge
#Wait 20-90 mins according to QL of forge

When all items are Glowing With Heat

#Remove Sauce Pan
#Put Fish or Meat or Fillet in Sauce Pan
#Fill Sauce Pan with Water from Cauldron
#Put Sauce Pan back in forge
#Wait 30-60 secs till Sauce Pan contains Gulasch

*Take Saucepan
*Pour (empty) Gulasch onto ground

Repeat whole process

Note: Gulasch appears to have a consistent difficulty of 14 that can be increased by using a lower QL fire or forge. This trick should work until you have a skill of around 14.

Tip: Make several Sauce Pans and use the Gulasch to feed your pigs or tamed pet in order to raise your Animal Taming skill at the same time.

If the animal is within 20 tiles of your cooking site then you can make 7-8 pans of Gulasch and use all of them to tame the animal and they will still be glowing hot when you get back tou your fire.

Description
The farming skill covers tending fields, sowing and harvesting the crops. Crops can take several days to grow, during which a farmer should farm the field tiles to remove weeds. This will improve the harvest. Quality and amount of the harvest increases when you have a high farming skill. Quality of the seed also effects the growth time of the fields.

The seeds needed to start farming can be found while botanizing or from harvesting the crops. Harvested cotton, wemp and pumpkin must be picked/crushed to recover seeds for replanting.

Crops can be harvested at any time after the first growth level, but harvesting too early or too late results in a bad crop. Level 20 farmers can determine the optimal height by examining a field. It is also possible to use a small barrel. When a field reaches optimal height it will be the same height as the small barrel, or a little taller. The color of the field is also possible marker, as it changes to a yellowish-green when ripe. Not recommended in the dark. smiley

The maximum slope on which you can sow seeds is 8; attempting to sow seeds on a greater slope results in a message "The ground is not flat enough for crops to grow. You need to flatten it first". The slope does not appear to effect growth speed or crop quality.

Sowing on a sloped tile takes into account it's compound slope, however. That is, it's slope both North-South (NS) and East-West (EW). For example, the slope can be level EW and 8-steep NS. Or 4-steep EW, 4-steep NS etc.

Examine details
Anyone can verify if a field needs tending. "The crops grow steadily" means the field is in order, while "It could use a touch from the rake or some other farming tool" means it must be tidied with a rake. If the description mentions "rotting old weeds", the field is overgrown and can no longer be harvested.

Level 10 farmers can determine which type of crop is growing in a field, except at the lowest growth level ("freshly sown").

Level 20 farmers can determine the growth level of a field. The levels are, chronologically sorted:

# You see a patch of freshly sown field.
# A few green blades pop out of the ground.
# Small sprouts with many blades grow here.
# The sprouts are growing, a bit above half their mature height.
# The field is almost at full height.
# The field is at full height and ready to harvest!
# The field is overaged, and some crop has been ruined.
# (rotten old weeds, crops completely ruined)

Level 60 farmers can determine the number of items they will get after a harvest when they examine the field. It should be noticed however that the number it shows it not very accurate but more of a minimum since luck and other factors change the final number.

Tools
* Rake for farming
* Scythe for harvesting wheat, barley, oat and rye
* Small barrel to indicate perfect harvesting time; the crops will be the same height, or slightly higher than a small barrel when ready to harvest.
* Farmer at 50 skill

Tritus' Quick Guide
Farming can be a difficult skill to start, in the sense that getting your hands on the seeds as a new player can be extremely time consuming.

But, since most people build there first house with at least some surrounding land fenced off ...

Forage and Botanise a few times every time you log on. Every time you get a seed, plant it in the grounds of your house.

Note: to prepare the ground for planting you may need to Flatten and then Cultivate it.

Once you have sown your seeds, you want to Farm the tile at least once every real day. You will raise your skill more quickly if you spend more time Farm'ing each farmable tile.

Your crops should ripen in about three days but this is not precise. Each tile will grow at a different rate and if you sow 10 seeds at the same time then those ten tiles may ripen individually in 2-4 days. 3 days does seem to be about the average though with the tiles needing to be harvested within about 8 hours of becoming ripe.

Your crops will be ripe when the top of the crop (when groomed) is exactly level with the top of a Small Barrel placed in the tile.

If you Harvest early you will get reduced yield and if you Harvest late you will get reduced yield. If you are only getting one potato, or whatever, anyway then you will get nothing.

At higher skill levels you should be able to harvest early or late without losing all of your crop.

After you harvest you should Sow one seed right back into the tile.

You get Farming skill for Harvest'ing and Sow'ing and you will get Farming skill in the following days when you Farm the crop and then re-harvest it.

Your best bet is to assume that you will not be making any real crop gain from your Farming until your skill is at 15.

In other words, up to that point all your Farming will be very much sowing one seed get one seed back.

With a 50 tile farm you will get roughly 1 point of farming per day if you tend your fields twice a day. Takes about 10 mins to tend 50 tiles with a QL 10 Rake.

As your skill level improves yield increases from 1 through 3 and 4 to 6.

Basic Farming Cycle
# Sow
# Farm (at least once per day)
# Harvest (when your crop is level with the top of a Small Barrel)
# Sow (always replant at least one seed)

Yield Borders (approximated)
Crop !! Yield 3 !! Yield 4
Corn || (18) 20.00 ||
Cotton || (10) 15.00 || (30)
Onion || (18) 20.00 ||
Potato || (10) 15.00 ||
Wemp || (10) 17.50 ||

Numbers in brackets indicate the earliest that I got a yield of that amount.

Crop !! Yield 3 !! Yield 4
Corn || (18) 20.00 ||
Cotton || (10) 15.00 || (30)
Onion || (18) 20.00 ||
Potato || (10) 15.00 ||
Wemp || (10) 17.50 ||

Numbers in brackets indicate the earliest that I got a yield of that amount.
