		+	* Most items indeed take 1 damage every 15 minutes, give or take a few minutes, on a lava tile. Can't guarantee this is true of all items, as I certainly haven't tried them all, but fences (and possibly buildings?) will take 1 damage every few ''seconds'' if they lie on some borders (will have to verify which) of the tile.
		+	* Animals do seem to avoid walking on lava themselves. I can't guarantee it, but I did used to have a small island full of wild seals, with several erupted lava tiles, and I never noticed seals walking on the lava, or any corpses on the lava.
