Main / Skills / Cooking / Butchering

Butchering is the skill used to butcher a corpses to get items like pelts, meat, and other animal parts. Butchering is also used when fileting fish and meat.

Method

  1. Activate a butchering knife
  2. Right-click a corpse
  3. Select "Butcher"

If it was not your kill, examine the corpse to see if it has been butchered.

NOTE! Butchering human corpses makes your alignment drop by 5 units.

Items required

Fileting

Fileting cuts up meat and fish in 0.3kg portions. It never fails. Resultant filet quality depends on your butchering skill, the quality of the fish, the quality of your butchering knife, and the skill you have in using a butchering knife.
