Main / Skills / Smithing / Armour smithing / Chain armour smithing

Description

Skill is gained the first time you make armour chains with large anvil. Influences your success ratio at making and improving any chain armour related item.

Chain armour generally provides a middle ground base defense with moderate penalties to speed. The wearer will walk moderately slower and have a moderately slower attack speed. Chain armor offers a defense bonus vs stabbing damage, while the equipment itself receives extra damage from stabbing. A full chain set weighs 8.20KG and will slow you to 13.90KM/h on cobblestone when worn.
