Cows are found in the wilderness, you can use a rope on them to lead them, once lead they will not go into water. you can feed them by placing them in a tile of grass, or a tile of farmed field, but they can eat your crops, so be warned.

Stages of Cows

  • Starving
  • Normal
  • Fat

When a cow is starving, you will not get any meat when you kill them, when they are fat, you get a lot of meat when you kill and butcher their Corpse. Cow meat is used in Cooking. Cows are also used for milk, you get milk by using a liquid container on them (see below), you can milk them every real-life hour. See Time of Wurm.

Cows may wander for food, so fence them in a large area.

Use a Small Bucket, Small Barrel, or Pottery Jar or Flask to milk them. It may also to be possible to create Cheese from Milk and Salt (kept in a container together), using a Cheese Drill, this is uncomfirmed however. Cheese.
