Description
An iron ribbon. Primarily used to make fine carpentry items out of, such as large barrels and large chests. Also useful for their part in support beams, and Crows nest.
Tips
An iron ribbon is a component, it is never used for improving anything. As such it's a common practice to mostly use the low quality iron resulting from re-smelting scraps or from poor quality iron ore. You can always improve the finished item later on (The same practice is commonly found when making nails). However, it may be wise to have at least a few of them of higher quality available as some items require them in the first phase of construction, and thus will be lost if you fail at it. A higher quality ribbon will give you better chances of success when creating an item, whereas continuing an unfinished item will only damage the ribbon slightly if you fail.
