Description

A long slender bow that must be fired pretty far for good accuracy. It will then provide a hefty punch.

Long bow is best made out of willow. Examining it will then say, "The willow wood used in this bow gives it good strength yet supreme flexibility."

Stringing with a bow string is needed to make the bow functional. Before that, examining it will say: "A long but unstringed slender bow."

Shooting

This weapon is best used at 20 tiles range, or 80 m when looking through a spyglass. It requires a minimum range of 10 tiles. Higher skill in this weapon gives more shooting options when used. The long bow has the furthest range of hand-held weapons in game. Long bows at a long range can give very nasty wounds with a good enough bow.

Bows must be wielded in your hands to be fired. Bows are two handed weapons, and cannot be equipped unless both hands are empty and you aren't wearing a shield.

Storage

Can be stored in a Bow rack. Does not fit in a regular large chest or a bulk storage bin.
