Do we really need to keep ALL of these maps for posterity? It seems to me that the official map dump should be sufficient.

Nah might as well keep them as examples of playermade maps. Can always remove them later when the need arises. - Klaa

I think all the maps should stay. They are not hurting anything by leaving them on here and some of us players who have been around since the days of beta get a itch to check out the old maps from time to time. --Doughboy 22:28, 8 May 2009 (CDT)

Freedom Maps

At the moment it seems a bit pointless to link to any specific maps since they all seem to be very much work in progress.

Thus I'd suggest the image link be removed for now as the result of inevitable immediate obsolescence but that the forum link be left in.

Updated Independence map links. Created nested bullets for old maps that have been superseded but if someone feels like they can be removed to de-clutter feel free. Also added new v4 details for Huserx who is taking over as of tomorrow (11/08/12) Will post a forum link once hes started it. Links are the same as when I (Maximusi) was updating it.

Client version

Added a client version to the top of this article, beginning with 4 tinyurl.com links to most helpful (and recent) maps of GV. I would like to ask people from prem to add similar maps for freedom/independence and wild, as i can't tell which of them are really usefull (note about usage: directly linked with tinyurl.com to the actual picture). Clean up page/add sub pages possibly

I think this page is becoming quite cluttered with all the maps, I see there was a previous discussion to archive maps which I also don't agree with. I propose we create list all the servers with links to one official map dump here and then create subpages to each additional server and on that page we can list the official map dumps(at this point in time there are multiple official mapdumps for some servers), user edited official map dumps, and links to external maps created. I think this will help clean up this page. Possibly could also edit the existing server pages and add a map section there and just link to that page and section from here.

Also need to go through and cleanup links that are dead, noticed a lot for Golden Valley specifically. --Thekraken (talk) 21:22, 29 November 2015 (CET)
