The starter kit is the collection of items freshly spawned players are given to begin their adventure. Although it is possible to craft these items from scratch, it is significantly more difficult.

| clay bowl | used for cooking stews and casseroles, also can be used to store items |
| Tent | (new item) when dropped on ground, becomes a place to safely store players items, as well as a place to spawn when the player dies. |

Notes:
- All but 3 Starter kit items stay with you when you die. 3 random items and all other gear is left on your corpse and must be retrieved by traveling back to where you died.
- Starter kit items cannot be improved.
- The wooden shield, despite supposedly being made of wood isn't burnable.
