The Start (October 2009)

A wanderer and a free thinker, Rasputin arrived in Mol Rehan sometime shortly after the millenium. He was not seen for a long time and was believed to be residing in the deep south. For a while he lived in peace, slowly buidling up his small home far from civilisation. Rasputin happily spent his time tending crops, working at his forge and practicing with his carving knife to produce many fine items of furniture and goods. Life was simple but good. The occasional passing visitor would bring the latest news from the major towns to the North but apart from that everything was peaceful and quiet.

It didn't last. The collapse of the Non Aggression Pact (NAP) between the armies of Mol Rehan and the Horde brought war. Rasputin would frequently receive harrasment from passing Blacklight raiding parties and it soon became clear that his little farm on the tip of the penninsula was too vunerable to be defended. With tears in his eyes, Rasputin loaded his small sailing boat with as many possessions as possible and regretfully sailed north for safety.

Azjherbeniex Skitchdouze (March 2010)

Having returned north, Rasputin found that things had changed a lot during the BL War. Most of Mol Rehan's citizens had abandoned the area to form a new capital on the steppe called House of Mol Rehan (HOM). Not being particularly fond of large cities, Rasputin befriended an excentric fellow by the name of Azjherben and agreed to assist him in building up his village.

Skitchdouze at first consisted of just a few wooden structures and a basic farm. The village rapidly grew however and soon began to represent to city that it's founder wanted. Rasputin, full of tales of BL armies, soon set about the construction of inner walls and gatehouses to ensure the future security of the town. The settlement continued to grow, new villagers arrived and houses quickly began to appear everywhere. All was not well however. As quickly as new people arrived, others would leave, often never to be heard from again. The cohension of the community slowly started to ebb away and soon areas grew abandoned and delapidated. Even the mayor, Azjherben, began to be seen less and less. Rasputin had a decision to make. remain and try to prop up a failing town or hit out on his own again and establish something new. It was a hard decision for Rasputin as he had invested a lot of time and effort into his new home but clearly his future lay elsewhere.

Amethyst (May 2010)

Rasputin wanted to make his next move more permanent. He had tried joining a village and seen it fall apart before his eyes. This time he wanted to ensure that wasn't going to happen again. By now he had honed his skills and had money in the bank. It was time to create a village of his own.
