Are we basing the meditating skill requirement using the regular rug? I think the meditating skill requirement is 20 up to level 8. A friend in Golden Valley is in path level 8 in love, using a 20ql fine meditation rug and have 20 meditating skill. He's aiming for 9 right now, so far no luck getting the question. I tried to "light the path" for a Goodhearted with 18.5 skill and was told in Event that she needs to meditate more. ---[[User:Arvid]]
Strange. I advanced Jekev from Mental to Psycho, and he said he had less than 20 skill (let alone 30). This is especially strange because both cases are from 6 to 7, and both recipients had less than 20 skill. ---[[User:Thorgot|thorgot]] 15:43, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

An update?
After a question in MGMT, I confirmed with an alt that you do lose Meditation skill on death. People thought it might be protected due to its difficulty.
