A peg can be used in [[ship building]], but counts as a [[carpentry]] item. Small ships require only 70 pegs, while larger ships require between 400 and 600. Quality depends upon the quality of the shaft used. Pegs are also used to seal [[Small wine barrel]]s and [[small barrel]]s, to prevent decay of contents inside. Place the barrel on the ground or on a rack such as a [[small barrel rack]] or [[wine barrel rack]] first, activate the peg by double clicking it and then right-click the barrel and select "Seal".
