* This board is not only decoration but allows the player to make moves and actually play a game of chess in wurm.
* The chess pieces are not craftable, but are only found through [[Treasure hunt]]s.
* 30 [[toymakingToy making|toy making]] skill is required to start creation.
* The final piece added determines the wood type; wood colors do show.
* If the position of the kings and queens are inverted, this can be fixed by right-clicking the chess board and selecting "play' "Reset board"
