==The telling of Old Guard==Wurm: In the beginning, not long after the first wurmians disembarked A successful village located in these lands BaldEagleOG came uppon a vast valley of plenty not far from his settlement. Observing the great strategic potential he quickly moved his camp to the outer rim of the valley and as soon as he had scraped together a small fortune he bought a small deed from the kings trader in New Town. While this was going [[OldGuard#Locations|The Guards Valley]] on Bald's friend Beowulf did the same in the innermost part west side of the valleyBig Mountain. They agreed <br />This page is a good place to share the bounty of the valley, and to support and help each other untill their dying breath. The two spendt many a cold night by the campfire dreaming, and even more warm days in the lush forests hunting and foraginglook for information about this great village. With the historic incidents with Jenn-Kellon and Mol-Rehan they agreed on each building an army to defend Jenn-Kellon against Mol-Rehan specially if there was ever you're out to come to that again. They swore in blood and went their separate wayscheck our [[OldGuard#Trade|traders inventory]].

BaldEagleOG was up at arms with his promise to BeoWulf. He had no idea where or how to build an army. He called upon his old friends to help him outMaintained By: [[User:Jobo|Jobo]], and they did. He worked them so hard one after another fell sick and could not work another day. All wanted to see the army rise, but none would spend their life to see it happen. In the end the only person Bald could trust was the Riddlemaster. A young apprentice with a huge heart, but unable to carry out all Balds tasks on his own. Eventually it ==The telling of Old Guard==When the first wurmians came to the point where Bald here this land was asking random people passing by the village for helpwild and dangerous. Once his mind was made up a stone fell off his shoulders. He waited patiently. Normally he would fend off anyone nearing the valley to protect its resources. Before long a commoner The few trained fighters there was passing by outside the pallisades. He explained he had just arrived in Newtown a few days ago with some friends, and was now their hands full looking for a suitable place to settle. Bald after new town and Riddlemaster both recognized this divine luck - by Vynora! They knew this was faith, and let keeping the citizens there safe from the stranger in. Two days later 3 norwegians settled various beasts lurking in outside the palisadeswoods. And before long they brought friends. Word traveled the land The tales from those who left and came back told of the newfound prosparity in the valley, bounty and Bald's old gang of friends started riches hardly imaginable to show up those who lived their monotonous lives in the valley, New Town. The safety of selling spindles and pottery bowls to Jake every night came with the newfound fortune of the norwegians BaldEagle started once again to build an armya price.. This time at a slower pace. Taking his time to consult and cooperate with his companionsthat price was adventure and excitement. This time he could not fail - by Vynora!

A overview It didn't take long before BaldEagleOG decided he to deserved better than carving spindles. He started systematically exploring his surroundings looking for a more fitting camp site. He soon decided that it was impossible to navigate the thick forrest, so he started looking for a way up to the top of Big Mountain. He knew that from up there he would be able to scout vast areas and find a brilliant spot for his next homestead, only to find it was hopeless since the valley will be added soonmountain was surrounded by vertical cliffs all around.

----==Members==One day I ran into a black wolf in the forrest. I was out of water and pretty damn tired, so i was lucky he was up wind from me. I started manouvering around him, but I soon realized he had me trapped in a small valley. Having nowhere else to turn i decided to get as far away as possible and hope for him to walk the other way. While looking for a place to rest up I stumbled on to a path that looked like it was in regular use. It was no animal trail, but people out here didn't necesarily mean friends. Since i was low on food and water, and had little of any value with me, except from my life I decided to take my chances. Just a few minutes down the trail i noticed it was ascending slightly, and up ahead i could see the trail raising above the treetops that was surrounding me. That blessed wolf!

Since the arrival of the industrious Norwegians noone has been enrolled in OG by the elders. This does not mean we are not reqruiting. We are constantly on the watch for hard working, resourcefull resourceful and dedicated players with common sense. Our current age-span is 18 to mid 30ies30's.If you are interested in joining Old Guard you will simply have to get to know us. :) Be warned joining OG is a process unless you know us in real-life. You will have to prove to us you are industrious and trustwortytrustworthy. Usually the process is something along the lines of: hang out and chat, be hired for chores in the valley, get permanent access to resources within the valley, become trainee and offered a house within the valley, and eventually get access to the village itself. This process may take weeks, so ''don't quit your day job'' when you decide you want to become an OG too.
