A light sturdy tool used for cutting down trees and shrubbery and chopping up felled trees. This also acts as an effective weapon when starting off.
Note that there are 2 types * It is the lightest of small axes. The wooden version comes in the newbie kit, does four axe varieties and will not drop on deathdo much damage in combat, and cannot be created/improved. The iron version can be created/improved and does drop on deathalthough it is fast.
The newbie axe made from wood will not do alot, if any damage to creatures/people when used in combat. It is best to stick with the iron version.
