Like its historical namesake, Byzantium lies on an important waterway and is at the crossroads of important trade routes in southern central Freedom Isle. There is no staff of guards needed in this peaceful village, we rely on volunteers a templar to keep out criminals and tower consripts to fend of hostile beasts, making it a safe place to live. The village has grown into the largest in the canal area.
