A '''crude wooden fence''' is a less sophisticated looking version of a [[wooden post fence]]. It , but it uses the same materials. It seems to be unpassable by players directly after planning the fence with only one shaft. This might be useful for quickly fencing off a safe area (but could also just be a bug), although hostile animals can still pass the unfinished fence. In its unfinished state, the crude wooden fence has the same model as a completed [[wooden fence]]. The unfinished fence can be hit down in one action with a [[huge axe]], but the finished fence seems to be just as strong as the normal wooden fence, receiving around 5-10 damage per hit.with a [[Huge Axe]]
