Armour is equipment worn to protect against damage, at the cost of movement speed and mobility. *For spellcasting/archery buff, defaults to the heaviest type of armor armour that is worn. Leather with a chain gauntlet will default to chain. Helmets bypass this rule.

Different types of armour are stronger or weaker against certain types of damage. Additionally, certain materials are best suited for armor armour purposes. See the following tables for more:
