* By [[sell]]ing items to [[trader]]s or at the [[Settlement token|token]] on a [[settlement]]* Selling items at a token gives a very low chance to receive rare coins.* [[Forage|Foraging]] and [[botanizing]] give a very low chance to find a rare coin.* Killing [[Animal|creatures]] gives a very low chance to receive a rare coin, double chance if they are domestic animals.
