'''Brown bear''' is a dangerous [[animal]] to new players, but less so than its cousin [[black bear]], and can be killed by a well-equipped player without much fighting skill. Do not try to run away from it into the water, because this bear can swim. It can be [[taming|tamed]] with meat or fish, (15+ taming skill recommended). Since brown bears can swim, a brown bear one in the water is sometimes referred to as a Bearshark.
