Added skill-loss notes regarding death. Page still needs further cleanup/restructure
===Skill gain===
Your skill-gain is the highest when your success chance is 50%. A lower or higher success chance lowers the amount of skill gained when succeeding. The further away from 50% success chance you are, the lower the skill gain.
Improving actions will usually give more skill than creating actions.
You may gain skill even failing an action; though, it can vary per skill.
Stamina affects skill gain. It is still possible to gain skill if you start an action while having 0% stamina, however the penalty to the skill tick is massive. Here are 3 examples of skill ticks at various points of stamina usage with sleep bonus on:*100% stamina -- [23:22:30] Mining increased by 0.000908 to 90.10496*60% stamina -- [23:25:42] Mining increased by 0.00161 to 90.1092*0% stamina -- [23:22:04] Mining increased by 0.000351 to 90.10405Action time also affects skill gain. for most actions: The longer the action, the more skill you gain for that action. For example, a 20-second mining action will generally give the same amount of skill and characteristics as two 10-second mining actions. Lower stamina will increase the timer length.
If you gain skill with stamina at or near 0%, there is a massive penalty to the amount of skill gained for that action. Nutrition also affects skill gain. Starting at When nutrition is higher than 50% nutrition , you receive get a bonus of 1% bonusincreased skill gain per 10% nutrition. For example, continuing at 65% nutrition would result in 1.5% every 10extra skill gain, and 99% nutrition up to a 5would result in 4.9% bonus extra skill gain. Loss of some amount of some skills at death is unavoidable aside from skills that have reached a level of 99%+. However, fighting and skill characteristics will suffer losses in the event of any death, regardless of skill levels previously attained.
