When a cow is starving, you will not get any meat when you kill them, when they are fat, you get a lot of meat when you kill and butcher their [[Corpse]]. Cow meat is used in [[Cooking]]. Cows are also used for milk, you get milk by using a liquid container on them (see below), you can milk them every real-life hour. See [[Time of Wurm]].
Cows may wander while grazing for food, so fence them in a large areawith lots of grass or crops.
Use a [[Small Bucket]], [[Small Barrel]], or [[Pottery]] Jar or Flask to milk them.
