an abriviation of Frames per second wich refers to the number of frames whatever game/movie is outputting per second and since all video is nothing more than strips See [[:wikipedia:Frame_rate#Frame_rates_in_video_games|this article on Wikipedia]] for a detailed explanation of pictures taken milliseconds apart, the more frames per second the smoother the video will be. someone explain this better pleaseacronym.
