Description
Foraging is the skill used when searching a tileResource nodes for a wide variety of vegetablesresources, including berriesseeds and resourcesvarious food items.
Foraging is also used to find branches on grass or trees and "Rummage" on rock or cliff tiles to find low quality iron rocks or rock shards, which can be used to create low quality crude tools.== Notes ==
* At skill level 0Foraging a node will deplete it, you can forage on grass and treescausing it to disappear.* At skill level 21Resource nodes spawn randomly, you and can choose what take up to a few days for more to forage (Anythingappear. * Different tile types and location, Vegetablesseason, Resourcesplayer condition, and Berries)other possible variables affect the percentage and type of items that can be botanized.* At skill level 23, you can forage on See the steppeResource nodespage for more details on these modifiers.* At Higher skill level 33, adds a flat value increasing the number of items you can forage on find. (see tundraResource nodes.page)* At skill level 43, you can forage on You have a chance to obtain rare marshcoinwhile botanizing.* Higher skill reduces the action timer, increase the average QL of the items found, and increase the likelihood of finding more than Foraging can be done while mounted/driving a single resources in a single tile  == Method ==vehicle. * Right-click any tile and select Nature > ForageForaging can be done while moving, or* Right-click a rock or cliff so long as you do not move too far away (two tiles) from the tile and select Rummage.you are currently working

== Tips Images==* A tile can be foraged every 24 real hours. It is believed that the timer is triggered by an attempt, and not by an actual item being found. Therefore if nothing is found, try another tile instead of repeatedly trying the same one. Yet tiles not foraged or botanized for a long time can still be empty.<gallery heights=200px mode="packed-hover">* Tiles that are not foraged for long periods of time (a week or longer) have a higher chance of giving something than tiles that are checked 24 to 36 hours apartFile:Forage - botanize.* It also seems that there is jpg | A player foraging on a higher chance of getting something if the grass tile has flowers on it.* It is possible to both forage and botanize on the same tile as these actions are on separate timers.* Different tiles, player condition, and other possible variables affect the percentage of items that can be foraged.</gallery>
