Fountains will fill automatically when placed above underground water sources which can be found by [[Water_Divining|divining]] for water.
Placing items inside a fountain will spill enough water out to accommodate for those items.
It used to be possible to construct fountains in containers like [[backpack]]s and [[sauce pan]]s which could be used to expand the capacity of [[forge]]s and other containers. These were left in the game as artifacts but making more is no longer possible.

A low stone fountain with a basin wide enough to sit in. It can hold 1125 liters of [[water]] and [[food]].

* Fountains will fill automatically with [[water]] when placed above underground water sources which can be found by [[Water_Divining|divining]] with an unenchanted [[pendulum]]. They can be placed above or below ground on a water source tile in order to fill. * Fills the same purpose as a [[well]], but with much greater capacity.* Placing items inside a fountain will spill enough water out to accommodate for those items.* Once built it usually takes around 15 minutes for the Fountain fountain to fill. * Cannot be picked up. * Loading requires a wagon.* Fountains will maintain their functionality when placed inside buildings.* Failure to create will consume 12.00 kg of stone shards.
