Tich's Art of FlatRaising
Definition
FlatRaising Flatraising is a term used to describe the way to get slopes process of making slopes greater than 40 dirt dirts (4 meters).  ===Why it is used===
It is used because dirt ===Purpose===Dirt "flows" when a slope gets to 40 dirts (4 meters), what i mean by . "FlowFlowing" is means that the dirt will slide down the slope until it gets to a lesser slope(less than 40). Dirt will also flow if the diagonal slope of the tile is over 40 dirts (4 meters).
How to tell what ===Measurement===To find out how many dirts (how steep) a slope is.. Well , examine the Tile tile border, but dirt . A digging skill of 15 or better will also flow if the diagonal allow a "mouseover" examination of the tile border when a shovel is over 4 meter slope as wellactivated.
Restrictions
The largest slope you can make is three times 3x your skill. ===How to do it===#For this example i will assume that you start with a 4x4 (totally) flat area and want to raise the middle 2x2 area up high.#First drop 40 dirt on each corner of the 2x2 area. #Once the outer slopes are 40 dirt, start dropping dirt (batches of 10-20 dirt is good) in the center of the 2x2.#Flatten one of the tiles (rotating the tile to flatten is a good idea, if not you had better flatten all the 4 tiles). Remember not to stand on the high point when flattening as you will get "Ouches".#Repeat until either you get the "Spire" to your desired height or to your skill height. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n191/psofimia/FlatRaising.png
===NotesMethod===Another option For this example I will assume that you're starting with a 4x4 (completely flat) area and want to flatraise the middle 2x2 area.# Drop 40 dirts on each exterior corner of the 2x2 area. # Once the exterior corners are raised 40 dirts, start dropping dirt (batches of 10-20 dirt is to dig at typical) in the center of the base 2x2 area.# Flatten one of a slope the tiles (rotating the tile to increase it, but this flatten is a good idea; if not always possible (eyou had better flatten all the 4 tiles).gRemember not to stand on the high point when flattening as you will get "ouchies". on landbridges # Repeat until you get the "spire" to your desired height or when doing a road along rock)to the maximum height for your skill level.
===Tips===* Note that once the
* A good advice ===Variation===Another option is to make dig at the base of a pile for the dirt (using any object on youslope to increase it, its easier with different items as but this will form a "pile of items", which is easier to target) not always possible (e.g. on the slope and then add the dirt (from your cartlandbridges or when building a road along rock), and retrieve your items, repeat until your pile(s) have 100 dirt so you don't have to keep climbing up/down.
Tip
* Once the slope gets over 29 dirts, you will have climb to get up and down from the 2x2 area. To save time, use this method to prevent you from having to climb up and down the slope as you work: drop items you have in your inventory (easier with four different items) until you form a "pile of items" which is easy to target. Then add at least 2 dirts to the pile and remove your items. You may add up to 100 dirts to each pile (one pile per tile).
