Description
Horses like this one have many uses.
Horse Horses are ridable animals. Being mounted provides a very substantial advantage in combat. It is usually much easier to kill a rideable strong opponent when riding. In addition, mounts are unaffected by the rider's animalstamina primarily found on and steppehealth, which makes it possible to retreat from combat even with low stamina or critical wounds. Riding a fast mount is often the only way of successfully escaping some of the faster mobs (like aged troll s or grasscrocodile lands). Wild This is especially true when carrying loads above a bare minimum because horses (those that spawn somewhere in the wild) are grey. Bred horses come in one of 5 known colour types: black, white, grey, brown, goldnot slowed as much as players are when carrying heavy loads.

They can be lead with a rope Image:Horse_Colours.png|thumb|none|1350px|Horse colours, image provided by anybody without being tamed, but they are ride-able only with 21 Body ControlMalena. Horses can be tamed with seeds and some vegetables. However, as mobs attack tamed mounts before the rider and horses do not withstand much damage, it's usually wise to ride them untamed (to untame simply tame another animal).*With the early 2012 patch, now untamed ridden mounts may also be attacked. Best to place barding on your horse if you wish it to survive more often. Tame the horse, put the barding on, tame something else to untame the barded horse, or it will also attack your enemy which may give it agro/attention from the mob/opponent.
=== Body Form ===Horses can be ridden up and down a straight 40 slope ramp or anywhere the sum of two neighbouring sides of a tile do not exceed 40have varying body types based on their traits. *The slope for These body types are: hot-blooded, characterised by a horse was changed from 30 to 40 in early 2012. Other changes include a much faster turning ability while riding wiry build and speed traits; warm-blooded, with a horse medium build and/mixed traits; or commanding a cart. While only turningcold-blooded, your horse will now move forward featuring a little. A horse will now move much slower when ridden backwardshusky build and draft traits.

Speed
A horse without speed -affecting traits or equipment will have a max speed of ~18 kph (when riding it). Riding speed is completely unaffected by terrain typetype. It is the same everywhere on and off-road. Saddles and horse shoes will raise the maximum speed. A horse's gear can only be accessed or changed when tamed, and only by the tamer, or when branded by whoever has permissions. When riding down 20+ slopes  Any traits, the horse's hunger, terrain steepness, and the rider will not receive wounds like 's inventory weight can affect the speed of the horse when walkingriding. If the speed of a horse slows suddenly, and mounts will go neither up nor down slopes over without a certain maxweight or terrain increase, so then the horse is most likely hungry. Feed it can something or get off and lead the horse to grass tiles. After eating or grazing the speed should be wise back to ride to avoid falling off mountainsnormal. Ebony black horses have a slight speed boost, when both riding and pulling vehicles, over other colours. === Speed Boosting ==={| class="wikitable" style="text-align: center; cellpadding="3";"|-! scope="col" | Type! scope="col" style="color: green;" | 50ql boost ! scope="col" style="color: #c5c503;" | 70ql boost! scope="col" style="color: red;" | 90 ql boost! scope="col" | Other|-!scope="row" | Horse shoe set of 4|0.24km/h|0.48km/h|0.72km/h|-!scope="row" | Saddle|0.24km/h|0.48km/h|0.72km/h|-!scope="row" | Wind of ages |0.24km/h|0.48km/h|0.72km/h|cast on shoes or saddle|-!scope="row" style="color:blue" | rare versions||||0.72km/h|-!scope="row" style="color:teal" | supreme versions||||1.44km/h|}

Feed it something or get off 90 quality thresholds, they are linear and lead the horse to grass tiles. After eating or grazing the speed should be back scale according to normalquality.
Bred Horses
*Bred horses have individual (but not unique) names randomly chosen at birth. They can have traits affecting their speed and other characteristics. *Bred horses have 2 foal stages (young foal and adolescent foal) before they grow into young horses. *Color of bred horses will be inherited from their parents, with a very small chance of becoming an entirely different color at birth.*Traits have a chance to be inherited from the parents. Both parents having a trait will help but does not guarantee that trait will be passed on. == Traits ==Numerous traits can positively or negatively affect the speed of a creature being ridden by a player, or pulling a vehicle. For horses, a player is likely to want to seek out speed traits for a horse that's ridden, or draft traits for a horse that pulls a cart or wagon.  See animal husbandry for a full list of traits. == Equipment == Equipment that can be equipped on tamed or branded horses:*Bridle*Saddle*Horse shoe*Cloth barding, dyeable cloth barding, leather barding, and chain barding == Notes == *They can be led with a rope by anybody without being tamed, but they are ridable only with 21 body control.*Horses can be tamed with seeds and some vegetables. Be aware though that aggressive mobs occasionally attack tamed horses/mounts.*Horses can be ridden up and down a straight 40 slope ramp or anywhere the sum of two neighbouring sides of a tile does not exceed 40. While only turning, your horse will move forward a little. A horse will move much slower when ridden backwards or up a hill, it moves faster when riding down a hill.*One or two horses can be used to pull a large cart or a ship transporter. Up to four horses can be hitched to a wagon.*Horses have 20 body strength.*Breeding a female horse with a male donkey will produce a mule.*Adult horses and foals can be found in the wild, including swimming deep in the ocean.*It is possible for an untamed, branded horse to be attacked by a champion aggressive animal and killed. == See Also ==
Bred horses have 2 foalHorse names stages (young foal and adolescent foal) before they grow to young horses. All foals are bred, not wild.
Traits
Speed related traits will turn on and off at random intervals by design. See animal husbandry for a full list.
*"It has fleeter movement than normal." - This trait is known to create a small speed boost.
*"It has lightning movement." - This causes a much higher speed boost.
*"It can carry more than average." - The rider's inventory will affect the horse's speed less.
*"It has very strong leg muscles." - Slopes affect the horses speed less.
*"The legs are of different length." - This causes a very severe speed penalty.
