==Reclaiming==
Digging marsh with a [[shovel]] does not convert it into [[dirt tile|dirt]] as it does with [[grass]]. It can only be reclaimed converted into other tile types by paving it with [[floor board]]s, after which it may then can be safely unpaved to and will become a dirt tile that can be used as dirt or allow repaving with another [[pavepaving|pavingpaved]] type. Marsh tiles cannot be raised out from underwater by the use of [[leveling]] or [[flattening]]. The only known way to raise marsh out of the water is to dump dirt on itas usual.

*Marsh does not spread to any other tiles.
*Stone walls and other fence The following types do not stop the spread of marsh.*[[Resource nodes]] can spawn on Marsh tiles can be foraged at 43 : [[Swampy puddle]], [[Rotting wood]], [[Mints]], [[Mineral debris]], [[Umbellifers]], [[Nightshades]], [[Vines]] and [[foragingCritter nest]].
