Buttercup is a character on the Freedom server, and a villager of Nyrada.
When Buttercup was first created, he set off to Golden Valley, upon his arrival he received a personal message from a mysterious player named - Elwoodj also known as Elwood, who informed him there were in fact 2 Buttercups - Buttercup (who this article is on) and Buttercups. Buttercup is male, despite the character being female, and the combination of these things can lead to confusion.
Buttercup has three priests, one of each type, called Samus, Athena and Nyura. However they are now village priests and played by other villagers in Nyrada.
