Made a small shack by Newtown, and spent my days scrounging for food, and getting eaten by wolves. Climbing was introduced, and the map was reset. I settled by a small lake and a rock valley, but soon found others settling there with me. I joined with them, as they were creating the village of [[Darkwood]]. It was a undeeded village of layed back people. We built up the town and a rather poor set of walls around the large area we were situated in. I built up a small house and a temple to Magranon, even though Magranon gave me no useful spells or bonuses. I started to wander the map, meeting people and learned how to kill the pesky wolves that had eaten me so often as a noob. After a raid where everyones house was broken except mine, I became one of the only active ones. Someone got ahold of Rolf's password soon after that, which ushered in the final Beta map. I decided to go out on my own that next map, but could not find any iron in which to settle next to anywhere I wandered. Growing tired of not finding anything, I took a pilgrimage to the Blacklight (multiple times >.<) and converted to the Great goddess of Libila. I started a small Homestead by some Iron on a small cliff in the forest near the BL. It was not until after I had settled down that I realized that my new home was on the outskirts of troll territory. The boredom of nothing but troll's to keep company caused me to lose interest in the game soon after. |

Beta History
Started playing on Beta Map 7 with a friend. Made a small shack by Newtown, and spent my days scrounging for food, and getting eaten by wolves. Climbing was introduced, and the map was reset. I settled by a small lake and a rock valley, but soon found others settling there with me. I joined with them, as they were creating the village of Darkwood.
