I have played Wurm Online since Early September, 2004, During the last Beta map. I remember how nooby i was and i lived near the town known as Greentown, Next to Goglepox and GTKeyos. I remember when you started with Noob Tools, which included a fishing rod, and to top it off, 20 Fishing also. I remember walking down to the nearby Lake between Greentown and Newtown at a town called Avalon, under the rule of Barakus, Wurms now Head GM and began to Fish. I remember catching my first fish and being excited that i could finally have my first meal after the Bartender stopped handing out what use to be called Steak. I remember when i could walk around without risk of being killed or chased by the enemy or creatures, and when they did come, how i was slain by Zerobyte and the rest of LO when they raided Greentown. I remember when i stumbled across The Greater Havens, walking passed Mist, who was owned by Lex, She gave me fresh 70ql Steaks, she was an insane cook back then, and shes an even more insane woman today. I remember walking into an unlocked pen area and stealing from the man known as Wintersolstice, who to this day, i think of as my second family, He has helped me during my entire time on Wurm, and although we sometimes don't see eye to eye, He is still my best bud and someone i can talk to about anything. I remember meeting him and begging him not to kill me or my brother, after i had stolen countless items from him in one hit using a small cart which i had all stolen from his unlocked pen at West Haven. He had sentenced me to live the remainder of that maps time with him at The Greater Havens, and i dont regret one bit of it. To this day i am still by his side, fighting for Rivendell, What was formerly known as Silron Valley, and The Ghost Alliance, Consisting of both BL and JK towns in Beta.

I created my account, Rudie, on the 15th of September, 2005. Back then, the game wasn't very graphically friendly, and it was still as slow, if not even slower back then. There was no quick form of transport, no boats, no horses, nothing but Small carts which could only move 40 dirt or rock shards, or 2 felled trees at one time. I Began walking east, and back then you could swim without drowning and came across Greentown which was surrounded by Pine and Oak trees, which back then, Oak trees made up 15% of the map and were all that rare. I found some nails laying on the ground and i was helped by Dreammaster and Adoll after asking a couple of question in Jenn-Kellon chat. I quickly began to get my Carpentry up by making the planks i needed to construct my 2x2 house, It took me a full 2 days to make the planks required and build the house. After i had done this, i set out to make myself a mine, and luckily for me, i had settled close to an already open mine system which i found Iron in. I made myself some better tools and some crappy weapons and armour so i wouldn't die if i tried to swing my pickaxe at a bee(There were no bees back then), I used a campfire to melt down the iron i needed and it was a real pain to mine out 50kg of Iron just to make a large anvil, and then i had to mine out another 40kg of iron just to make the tools i needed. I picked up my Fishing rod after i had locked my house with a 1ql doorlock which i had made and went down to the nearby lake to fish. I caught some fish and made a camp fire next to the spot i had chosen to fish at, and using the frying pan i had made earlier while making myself some better tools and armour, had finally made some steak which had weighed 15kgs(Hey, it was 5ql alright, Nutrition wasn't even implemented back then, and you didnt fast either). I walked back towards my house and was killed by a bear after trying to kill it with my 5fight skill which i had gained from a practice doll i had found not far from the lake.
