==Village Description==
Well-established village in the shadow of Quasi Mountain of Mol-Rehan is centrally located by a wonderfully secluded cove near the base of Needle Mountain. Solid buildings of stone and mortar anchor this community to the land, while natural expanses of parkland and forestry give a feeling of open, free space. Natural resources are available in abundance with vast room for expansions. Darkenstone has easy access to Gold's Gym and Alchemist Bay via Rogan's Road. A steppe with bears, crocodiles, mountain lions, wolves, and various other animals is also just a short walk away.
===Village Resources===Plenty Early days of natural resources available and often daily surprises. Natural easy going hunting is available. Nearby resources include easy access to water, wood, rock, iron, silver, peat, and clay. Additional resources being found almost dailythe Darkenstone Canal in late 2009.
==Village Politics==We are an established village with a mayor who has final say in all things city-related, while taking into consideration the opinions of his villagershttp://i201. The founding members make up a Council of Advisers that are essential to making the village work wellphotobucket. All citizens have a right to be heard, understood, and taken into account. ===Village Buildings=Canal History==*Was the first major canal project undertaken on the Freedom Isles. Allowing passage to the center of the map for hundreds of settlers.*The Darkenstone Canal deed was placed during the server's opening day on June 17th, 2009 at coords 28x,17y.*The centre village of Darkenstone is a meeting place and offers access has relocated several times to several key buildings, including a carpentry shop, bakery, tailor shop, health center, and different areas of the Virgin Forest Innserver.
