The Whispering Wood is the oldest deed on Deliverance, having been founded within the first 15 minutes of that server's second, successful opening day.
It is situated on the north coast of Deliverance, between Bear Lake and the ocean.
The wood is a regular sized homestead deed, but with a very large Perimeter open to the public for hunting and logging. It is extensively used for these purposes by locals and travellers alike.
The Whispering Wood is home to Whispering Keep, possibly both the largest and tallest all-stone structure on Deliverance, at nine floors and a 7x8 footprint.
