* When creating a shaft, the quality of the [[carving knife]] determines the success rate of the shaft's creation. The quality of the log from which the shaft is carved determines the shaft's final quality level.
* When wielded, shafts are considered two-handed weapons, so both hands must be free in order to wield one.
