A source crystal can also be crushed with a hammer into [[source salt]], which provides 30 [[karma]] when eaten. The source crystal is described as a pink crystal in eventupon examination, but is named source crystal in the inventory. ===Note===*Source crystals mined before an old patch give only 10 karma. These older crystals can be identified by their weight, which is only .01kg compared to the newer crystals that weigh .03kg.
