Note that will produce a sprout, if a tree of this age does not all trees have sprouts even hold a sprout then (e.g. if somebody it's possible another player has already picked it), so you might need to check several to have the option. The option to pick a sprout refreshes periodically, every couple of weeks, or sometimes at server restarts.
