Clearing up

Can someone clear this up please? I just put some Info on there, but im not good at doing all the fancy stuff everyone else does, so i'll just ask nicely and hope someone wants to.

I wrote it down as a WL victory on the basis of did the BLers achieve their main objective (destroying the White Light), the anwser would be a no, since the WL was still standing after the fight.

For a historical comparison, take a look at the Vietnam War, while the United States won every straight up military battle.
