The leftover part of a #redirect[[tree]] after it is [[woodcutting|felled]]. It can be [[Bash|destroyed]] with a [[tool]] such as a [[maul]], [[shovel]], or [[axe]]. Tree stumps will also automatically go away when the tile they occupy is terraformed, such as being packed with a [[shovel]]. The presence of a tree stump on a tile does not prevent the tile from being terraformed, or new trees from being planted on the tile; they are only a visual decoration. If not deliberately removed, they will decay and vanish after a couple of days.[[Category:Babel/T]]
