Ian's first home was his friend [[friends Ronn]]and Phil's size 5 homestead, [[Nefarius]]. A month later, [[Ronn]] sold [[Nefarius]] to [[Player:Dipse|Dipse]], who subsequently disbanded it.
Ian, [[Ronn]], [[Phil]], and [[Nikolai]] then moved approximately one kilometer north of [[Kyara]] to found the size 5 village of [[HollowValeHollowvale]], with [[Ronn]] as the mayor. Mid-december 2007, Ian's fellow villagers all became bored of Wurm and decided to quit. Not being one to give up that easily, Ian accessed the mayor [[RonnHollowvale]]'s account and was disbanded [[HollowVale]].
