Ian, [[Ronn]], [[Phil]], and [[Nikolai]] then moved approximately one kilometer north of [[Kyara]] to found the size 5 village of [[Hollowvale]], with [[Ronn]] as the mayor. Mid-december 2007, Ian's fellow villagers all became bored of Wurm and decided to quit. Not being one to give up that easily, Ian accessed the mayor [[RonnHollowvale]]'s account and was disbanded [[Hollowvale]].
He then moved to the size 15 village of [[Rivendell]]. Once there, he helped dig defensive trenches for several days before being admitted as a citizen. He quickly made friends within [[Rivendell]] and now serves the other villagers as a digger, carpenter, chainsmith, blacksmith, fighter, medic, and occasionally as a miner.
