To unlock the ability to make puppets, you need to first make a [[yoyo]] to unlock the [[Toy making]] skill. At low skill in toy making skill its better to use low ql shafts or attach it as the last part. At present it seems that ql addition from attaching the shaft is based on [[carpentry]] and not toy making! . It may happen that you end up with a puppet with at a ql much higher than your toy making skill and that makes it very hard to attach anything to the puppet after you added the shaft..
no needle in creation, creations auto unlock now.
