I started playing in June 2006, where I spent a few months on the home server before moving to wild and the city of Silron Valley. There I was a half-decent miner and mediocre chainsmith until the big server crash. At the start of gold 2.0 I moved back to the home server for a short homesteading stint, and then returned to wild to live in Independent Settlers where I was a respectably-skilled blacksmith. But nothing lasts forever and Independent Settlers sadly disbanded and I lost my will to keep playing, so sold my account to Dadd and left Wurm for a time. As of March 2008 I am playing again on the home server, with a character named Jup and enjoying the experience of being a noob once again.
