* Meteorites contain different, high-quality metals that can be mined directly as hot lumps. These include all metals except moonmetals and alloys.
* They can remain on the ground for some time after falling.
* Meteor showers are spawned by the [[Ritual of the Sunsun]].
* The quality of the metal produced by a meteorite seems to be capped only by the mining player's [[mining]] skill.
* Meteorites take 50 hits and then are depleted.
