* An item that can be bought is purchased with rift points from the participating in an active [[Rifts|rift points shop]]. The different shoulder pads have different effects to them.
* The Basic Shoulder Pad has a specific ''right'' and ''left'' version.
* Shoulder pads take damage when not in the player's inventory, on a [[merchant]], in the [[mail]], or in a [[magic chest]] and cannot be repaired.
