* A rare item requiring high [[Botanizing]] skill to obtain.
* There is a small chance to get Source seeds from the [[Sampo]] at a [[Fo Holy Site|Fo Holy site]].
* Said to increase the effective Animal Husbandry skill of the player by between 5 and 10, depending on seed QL, when breeding a female animal within one hour of it being fed the seeds.
* They can be planted in dirt tiles, but they grow into regular vegetables (potatoes, in the one reported test to date) with no special qualities.
