* A '''halter rope''' is used to lead up to 4 animals at once with one rope. Many creatures can be led without [[Animal_taming|taming]] and these include: [[bison]], [[bull]]s, [[calf|calves]], [[cows]], [[chicken]]s, [[hen]]s, [[horse]]s, [[rooster]]s, [[pig]]s, and [[sheep]].
* At PVP servers you can only lead 2 animals. If you are mounted, you can only lead 1 animal on PVP servers.
* Only the commander of a [[Ship|boat]] or [[Carts|cart]] can lead animals. Passengers are not able to lead animals.
* Some items may be [[:Category:Hauled_items|hauled up and down]] ladders of a structure by using a [[rope]] or halter rope.
