Crystal runes use [[jewelry smithing]] to create. Stone runes use [[stonecutting]], and wood runes use [[fine carpentry]].
Each god and metal combination creates a rune of with a different effect; that is. For example, a brass rune of Libila will not have the same effect as a brass rune of Magranon. Some may be have similar in effect, effects but with different strengths. Any player Players of any religion can make any rune , regardless of any its associated god-type. However, creating runes of one's own corresponding associated with the god-type gives they follow grants a creation bonus and is , making them easier at to craft.
