A [[Homestead]] on a lake north of [[Silent Hill]]. [[Lakeside]] is the first (and so far only) Wurm project for [[User:Melek|Melek]] and is intended to be nice to look at and have a bit of everything and not become some nasty grind factory. [[Lakeside]] is moderately terraformed with [[Cobblestone|cobbles]] and [[Stone Wall|stone walls]].

[[Lakeside]] is a [[Homestead]] on a lake north of Silent Hill founded on 23rd of July 2008 by [[User:Melek|Melek]]. [[Lakeside]] is the first (and so far only) Wurm project for [[User:Melek|Melek]] and is intended to be nice to look at and have a bit of everything and not become some nasty grind factory. It is moderately terraformed with [[Cobblestone|cobbles]] and [[Stone Wall|stone walls]].
==Facilities==
[[Lakeside]] currently contains 3 three fields, a one tile shed, a six tile house, a pair of animal pens, an [[iron vein|iron]] [[mine]], a [[forge]], [[oven]] & [[ovenloom]], a mostly finished [[bed]] , various [[containers]] for storage and a nice open area for with a [[Fountain (container)|fountain]] . There are also many [[Lamp|lamp posts]] around [[Lakeside]] which makes it look really nice at night (when I have the time/skill to make itsee screen shots below).
[[User:Melek|Melek]] is also in the process of making some small (1 tile wide) [[Gravelgravel]] paths in the local area to aid travellers and others move around has also created a (fairly) nice beach area. ==Future Plans== * Replacing the large wood house with a stone house.* Finishing the network of [[gravel]] paths and avoid nastiesposting a proper map.* Maybe offering to apprentice a newbie who can build a home nearby.* Getting a couple of safe houses set up with rented [[bed]]s.
